Lots of food at Easter but I STAYED STRONG

My family is Greek, and in the Greek tradition, there is a church service from 11 PM until 1 PM and that is when it's officially Easter. The service is followed by a meal. I went with my family and they had lamb, salad, sausage, bread and butter, and desserts. My parents were forcing me to eat something, so I went to the bathroom, then went to sit with some girls my age to talk to them and said I ate some salad there. I was SO tempted to eat something but it was 1 AM..no way.

Easter day I ran 6 miles in the morning then I had a lunch/dinner of lamb. I woke up the next day..I lost 2 lbs!! Easter was a success, not a food failure!

I beat binge eating disorder ;)

I'm on the Georgetown campus in D.C. and realized that I'd overcome my disorder because I hadn't binged in so long and resisted all the extra food that wasn't part of my meal. I'm eating healthier and lost so much weight since February. I was always thin, but was 18 lbs more then than I am now, thinner than ever <3

how is everyone doing

We've all heard that word. And to some people it doesn't really matter, but to others, it's ALL we think about. How to become it, how far we are from it, what we NEED to do to show it. It's scary. I'm here to show my struggles with it, in every aspect of my life.

I'm holding on but everyday gets a little easier at times, but harder for the most part to move on from my old eating habits.

With time,
Well, I'm hoping it's soon
Before I lose my mind

a few simple tips to get thinner

Above is the number of calories I consume a day to get and stay skinny<3

1. Get at least 8 hours of sleep a night so your body can use up all the food you ate.
2. Try not to eat meals after 7:00 and wait at least 3 hours after you eat to go to bed.
3. Eat enough to feel satisfied and remember that it takes 20 min to know that you're full, so it's better to eat less and then get more food if you're still hungry.
4. Try not to skip meals. As hard as it is to eat 3 meals a day, it's important to keep your system as regular as possible because at some point you may be forced to eat more. By continuing to eat it helps your body to not gain extra fat if you do happen to have to eat more on a certain day.
5. Remember that the body is not meant to lose/gain weight rapidly, so the less drastic the weight loss, the more likely and the easier it is to keep the weight off forever.
